Product Description
  • The Discrete Signal Module allows for communication and control of the Tool Changer.
  • M23, 17-Pin connectors are provided for interfacing with SD2 master and tool modules to support Tool Changer and customer-specified I/O.
  • M12 male, 5-Pin connectors are provided to support tool changer Lock, Unlock, and RTL (Ready-To-Lock) proximity sensor inputs, as well as tool changer valve Latch and Unlatch outputs.
  • An integrated single or double solenoid valve (available on the Jxx air and valve adapter module) controls the Tool Changer locking mechanism.
  • Patented Tool Stand Interlock (TSI) technology is provided through a connector on the Tool module. Integration of a mechanical limit switch will allow the integrated solenoid valve to uncouple the tool changer ONLY when the Tool is in the Stand.
