Product Description

Provides a single Lock and Unlock air supply connection to the compatible Tool Changer for actuation of the locking mechanism.
Mounts to Flat A of the Tool Changer.
Ledge mount feature provides for the mounting of a control/signal module to the adapter.
Lock and Unlock air connections to the Tool Changer or Utility Coupler are provided through ports in the ledge mount. O-rings in the body seal the connection.
The valve adapter is equipped with an exhaust muffler, dual double solenoid valves, and LED indicators for the solenoid Lock and Unlock position.
Access to the solenoid valve manual override is provided through a screw in the aluminum housing..
Control of the integrated valve is accomplished through the valve signal pass-through connector to the control/signal module.
The valve adapter is equipped with sensors to monitor the solenoid valves for detection of failure of either valve. Solenoid Valve 1 is monitored using a pressure sensor and Solenoid 2 is monitored using a proximity sensor.
The valve adapter, when used in combination with a Control/Signal Module such as a DL5, satisfies the PLd safety reliability level in accordance with ISO Standard 13849-1.
The system prevents an unsafe unlatch by ensuring that the Tool Changer can only Unlock when the Tool is in the tool stand.
Air supply must be filtered to 40 microns.
