F/T Sensor: Axia90-M50

Skip Navigation LinksHome > Products > Force/Torque Sensors > F/T Models > Axia90-M50

Product Advantages
  • A high-performance, easy-to-use sensor that offers the highest resolution, accuracy, and stiffness available to provide a sense of touch to your application.
  • All electronics are built into the transducer body, which keeps the cost down and the footprint smaller. Like all of ATI's F/T products, the Axia90 features superior quality and robustness.
  • Available options for Ethernet, EtherCAT, and Serial communication.
  • Extremely High-Strength: Precision-machined from high-strength stainless steel. Maximum allowable single-axis overload values of 5.0 to 12.5 times rated capacities.
  • High Signal-to-Noise Ratio: Strain gages provide exceptional resolution and accuracies better than 2% full scale across all axes and calibrations.
  • IP67 Protection from dust, high pressure water spray, and submersion up to 1m for 30 minutes.
  • ISO 9409-1-50-7-M6 bolt pattern integrated directly into tool side of sensor.
  • Bolt-down interface design minimizes overall stack height.

Typical Applications
  • Electronic assembly
  • Polishing
  • Real-time force control
  • Product testing
  • Pick and place
  • Collaborative robotics

*The resolution is typical for most applications and can be improved with filtering.
**Resolutions quoted are the effective resolution accounting for noise.
***Applied loads must be within range in each of the six axes for the F/T sensor to measure correctly.

ATI's F/T calibrations are traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). ATI certifies sensors are calibrated in accordance with
applicable ATI procedures. These procedures are compliant with the ISO 9001 standard to ensure that products are within ATI specifications.
