ATI Industrial Automation will be exhibiting at the upcoming International Manufacturing Technology show (IMTS) on September 10-15, 2012, in Chicago, IL at McCormick Place, North Hall, Booth #N-6429. IMTS 2012 is the premier manufacturing technology
show in North America. More than 1,800 exhibiting companies will occupy
1.2 million square feet of exhibit space at the McCormick Place
complex in Chicago, Illinois.
ATI will display several live robotic demonstrations that feature Robotic Tool Changers, Robotic Deburring Tools, Multi-Axis Force/Torque Sensors, and Robotic Collision Sensors. All of their latest advances in robotic end-effectors and automation tooling will also be on display including:
- QC-001 Micro Tool Changer: Developed for high-speed "spider" or parallel-link robots with extremely light payloads.
- Utility Couplers: Quickly
connect utilities such as air, fluid, power, and electrical signals in docking
and fixturing applications. Features a unique rotational compliance mechanism that compensates for large tooling misalignments.
- Hollow-Wrist Tool Changers: Allows the routing of pneumatics and electrical signals through its center. Provides direct compatibility with many of the industry's hollow-wrist robots.
- Manual Tool Changers: A cost-effective and repeatable solution for quickly changing tools by hand.
Many other exhibiting companies will have live robot demonstrations featuring ATI products.
