Product Description

The DL16 modules allow for communication and control of the Tool Changer using PROFINET.
An integrated Ethernet switch allows a single PROFINET cable to control the Tool Changer and connect downstream PROFINET devices.
An integrated single- or double-solenoid valve (available on the Jxx valve adapter module) controls the Tool Changer locking mechanism.
Patented Tool Stand Interlock (TSI) technology is provided through a connector on the Tool module. Integration of a safety switch allows the integrated solenoid valve to uncouple the Tool Changer ONLY when the Tool is in the stand.
ATI's Arc Prevention Circuit (patent pending) protects the electrical power contacts from damage during coupling/uncoupling.
Five (5) independent Tool-ID (0-99999) switches provided.
Ready-to-Lock (R1 and R2), Locked, and Unlocked sensor inputs provided.
