Cummins Receives ATI's Customer Appreciation Award

In Recognition of Outstanding Support and Teamwork to Develop State-of-the-Art Productivity Solutions

Apex, NC,  agosto 19, 2011

ATI Industrial Automation recently presented Cummins Rocky Mount with ATI's Customer Appreciation Award. ATI launched the program to recognize customers and partners that are dedicated to working together to produce the most reliable and flexible productivity solutions available.

Cummins Rocky Mount is part of the north american distributor network for Cummins Inc., a global power leader. Cummins is a corporation of complementary business units that design, manufacture, distribute and service engines and related technologies, including fuel systems, controls, air handling, filtration, emission solutions and electrical power generation systems. Headquartered in Columbus, Indiana, Cummins serves customers in approximately 190 countries and territories through a network of more than 500 Company-owned and independent distributor locations and approximately 5,200 dealer locations. Founded in Columbus, Ind., in 1919 as Cummins Engine Company, for its namesake Clessie Lyle Cummins, the firm was among the first to see the commercial potential of an unproven engine technology invented two decades earlier by Rudolph Diesel. Cummins works relentlessly to provide cutting-edge solutions to the increasingly difficult challenge of producing cleaner-running engines. Cummins was the only company in the industry to meet the 2010 EPA standards for NOx emissions with the release in early 2007 of its new 6.7-liter turbo diesel for the Dodge Ram Heavy Duty pickup.
