New ATI Products at the Automate 2013 Show

Visit ATI at Booth #640, January 21-24, McCormick Place, Chicago, IL

Apex, NC,  dezembro 12, 2012

ATI Industrial Automation will be exhibiting at the upcoming Automate 2013 show on January 21-24, 2013, in Chicago, IL at McCormick Place, North Hall, Booth #640. Automate will be the premier event to discover the broadest automation solutions available. The show will feature dynamic keynote speakers covering topical issues, interactive hands-on demonstrations, and a top notch educational conference. In our booth, we will display several live robotic demonstrations that features Robotic Tool Changers, Multi-Axis Force/Torque Sensors, Robotic Collision Sensors, and Robotic Deburring Tools. We will also have all of our latest advances in robotic end-effectors and automation tooling on display including:

  • QC-001 Micro Tool Changer: Developed for high-speed "spider" or parallel-link robots with extremely light payloads.

  • Multi-Axis Force/Torque Sensors: Enables robots to use force control for automating a variety of challenging applications including difficult assembly, machining, and finishing tasks.

  • Nut Runner Tool Changers: Through-Hole Tool Changers featuring square drive components for passing a torque tool from a nut runner to various socket end-effectors.

  • Tool Changer Modules for Aluminum Joining: Newly developed Utility Modules support the high current demands associated with aluminum welding. Modules also available for self-piercing rivets and flow-drill screws.

  • Manual Tool Changers: A cost-effective and repeatable solution for quickly changing tools by hand.

Many other exhibiting companies will have live robot demonstrations featuring ATI products.

ATI's Catherine Morris, Director of Automotive Sales and RIA Chair said, "Everyone today is looking for a competitive edge – it’s the only way to survive. Automate 2013 is the show where you can find that edge and find answers to all kinds of automation challenges. Make plans now to join us in Chicago in January. You will see automation solutions that incorporate robots, vision, motion control, sensors, assembly systems, and related technologies. Automate is the one show where you can see it all: welding, material handling, finishing, fabricating, packaging, assembly, and  have an opportunity to have your specific questions answered at Expert Huddles held right on the show floor. You can also take advantage of four full days of practical training at the Automate 2013 Conference sessions taught by experienced industry professionals who know your challenges. Finally, Automate 2013 is again co-located with North America’s leading material handling and logistics show, ProMat. Together we expect 30,000 pre-registered attendees! We look forward to seeing you there!"

Founded in 1974, RIA represents some 300 North American companies including leading robot manufacturers, component suppliers, system integrators, end users, research groups, and consulting firms. The association sponsors the biennial Automate Show and Conference, plus many regional events, and is secretariat of the ANSI/RIA R15.06-1999 Robot Safety Standard. RIA also serves as North America’s representative to the International Federation of Robotics and is the only source of North American robot sales statistics.
