Arc Specialties will demonstrate the tooling utilized in their FANUC America Innovative System of the Year. This automated solution for the oil and gas industry utilizes FANUC M-900iB/280 FoundryPro robots and ATI Heavy Automation Tool Changers.

Staubli Robotics will demonstrate how ATI's Force/Torque Sensors and a Staubli cobot can be utilized in robotic surgery through force-controlled robotic hand-guiding.

Kane Robotics’ GRIT-ST automated grinding system will demonstrate how grinding welds can easily be accomplished with ATI’s new CGV-900 Compliant Angle Grinder, Universal Robots’ UR10e cobot, and 3M Abrasives Cubitron II media.

DIY Robotics will showcase their Robotic Sanding Cell that employs a FANUC CRX-10iA/L cobot, ATI’s AOV-10 Random Orbital Sander, and an abrasives kit from 3M. This system also allows for the hands-free exchange of media, making the process a fully automated operation and removing workers from the dull, dirty, and dangerous aspects of sanding applications.

ATI will also demonstrate how their Axia80 Force/Torque (F/T) Sensor and a KUKA KR6 Robot can perform a planetary helical gear meshing operation using force control.

In a large cell, ATI will also demonstrate how their Heavy Automation Tool Changers are used to automatically switch large end-effectors. A FANUC R-1000iA/80F robot, utilizing ATI QC-210 Tool Changers, will simulate the joining of automotive B-pillar assemblies by tool changing between an Atlas Copco K-Flow flow drill fastening tool and an Atlas Copco SCA industrial dispensing tool.
