Alcoa Howmet Receives ATI's Customer Appreciation Award

In Recognition of Outstanding Support and Teamwork to Develop State-of-the-Art Productivity Solutions

ATI Industrial Automation recently presented Alcoa Howmet with ATI's Customer Appreciation Award. ATI launched the program to recognize customers and partners that are dedicated to working together to produce the most reliable and flexible productivity solutions available.

Alcoa Howmet, a division of Alcoa Power and Propulsion, is a global leader in airfoil and structural investment castings. Serving the aerospace, defense, energy, and industrial markets, their products are primarily used in aircraft engines, aircraft frames, industrial gas turbines, armament, and other industrial applications. Additional value-added products and services include: Hot isostatic pressing, airfoil machining, specialty coatings, titanium and superalloys, research and development, supply chain management, and specialty tooling and machinery. With 29 production facilities, Alcoa Power and Propulsion, a business unit of Alcoa Inc., employs more than 11,000 people worldwide. Alcoa Howmet engine components are used in virtually every key commercial and military aircraft.

Alcoa Howmet has contributed to the success of the BAE M777 Ultra Light Weight Howitzer (video here) and the F135 propulsion system (video here).
