High-speed CNC deburring tool with integrated Radial Compliance

The RC-340-CNC is a robust, high-speed, and lightweight air-turbine driven deburring unit with radial compliance for deburring aluminum, plastic, steel, etc. As compared to our Axially Compliant line, the Radially Compliant tools are especially suited to removal of parting lines and flash from parts. The RC-340-CNC is designed for medium deburring and light deflashing using a CNC machine.

The unit's pneumatically controlled, articulated design allows the cutting bit to follow the part profile and compensate for surface irregularities allowing high feed rates with uniform quality in any orientation. The unit also requires no oil which allows clean exhaust air to be vented directly into the work environment.

Compliance is supported by air pressure applied to the shaft of the unit and is used to perform consistent deburring on irregular part patterns. The motor's internal governor maintains high spindle speeds for optimum surface finish. The RC-340-CNC offers +/-8mm of compliance and utilizes standard industrial tungsten-carbide bits which allows for adaptation to changing assembly lines and part requirements.
