A pneumatically-actuated compliance mechanism allows for dynamic control of contact forces and ensures an ideal result every time. Double-acting motion offsets the weight of the tool to produce the desired finish no matter how it is oriented. With the included interface plate, users can mount the AOV-10 directly to their FANUC CRX robot or to a fixture, in any orientation, including upside-down.

The AOV-10 CRX-Ready Kit for the FANUC CRX robot includes ATI’s Robotic Orbital Sander, one 5” back up pad, a 3M abrasive starter kit, one air prep kit with single point lubricator, interface plates, mounting hardware, assembly tools, and FANUC CRX software. Media change systems, 6” backup pad, and vacuum options are also available.
