ATI Industrial Automation, a leading engineering-based world developer of robotic accessories and robot arm tooling, has appointed Thomas C. Hallin as Quality Manager. Mr. Hallin will oversee the company's quality operations including product and design quality, ongoing ISO 9001 compliance, and product & process improvement.
Mr. Hallin brings to the company more than 25 years of experience in automotive manufacturing and quality. Prior to joining ATI, Mr. Hallin was with Magneti Marelli Powertrain, a tier-one supplier to the automotive industry, where he has held management positions in quality, engineering and manufacturing operations. Mr. Hallin will bring his experience in component supplier quality, design and design process quality, FMEA, assembly efficiency and quality, and poke yoke (mistake-proofing) to ATI's growing operations.
