ATI Industrial Automation has been awarded Consona's Summit Award for ATI's successful implementation of Intuitive ERP system. ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) is the broad set of activities supported by a multi-module software application that helps a company manage many facets of its business, including sales orders, planning, purchasing, inventory and finance. Intuitive ERP is a cross-industry ERP system for small- to mid-sized manufacturers.
ATI implemented Intuitive ERP in December 2004. ERP implementations are large-scale endeavors that are noted for low success rates—implementation problems can slow or even stop production, bringing a company to its knees. ATI’s painstaking six-month implementation allowed the company to maintain production levels even in the first week of using the new system.
Since then, Intuitive ERP system has enabled ATI to achieve unprecedented levels of on-time delivery, inventory control, and customer service. Intuitive’s customization features and open architecture have allowed ATI to achieve a highly integrated information infrastructure. ATI has developed many custom projects that integrate with Intuitive, including an information-rich intranet for ATI employees, a rigorous serial number tracking system, a flexible physical inventory system, and many others.
The Summit Award will be presented to ATI at the Consona Connect 2007 conference in October.
