ATI's Catherine Morris re-elected to Robotic Industries Association Board of Directors

ATI's Catherine Morris was recently re-elected to the Robotic Industries Association Board of Directors. The RIA Board is comprised of nineteen industry leaders, each serving two-year terms. Among those joining Jones is newly elected Director John Dunlop, Manager, Package & Material Handling Development for the United States Postal Service. Second term elected Directors are Bob Anderson, Manager, Robotics, Welding & Controls for DaimlerChrysler Corporation; Bernd Liepert, President of KUKA Robotics Corporation; Catherine Morris, Senior Account Manager for ATI Industrial Automation; and Ron Potter, Senior Director of Emerging Robot Markets for Motoman Inc. They join three Directors who were elected to a third term: Peter Cavallo, Sales Manager for Denso Robotics; Michael Kunkle, Senior Manufacturing Engineer for Harley-Davidson Motor Company and Kevin Ostby, Vice President Regional Operations for FANUC Robotics America.
Founded in 1974, RIA is North America’s leading robotics trade group, representing some 240 robotics manufacturers, component suppliers, system integrators, end users, research groups, and consulting firms. RIA key activities include sponsoring conferences and application-specific workshops. The Association is particularly well known for its biennial International Robots & Vision Show and Conference, annual safety conferences, and other regional events. The Association also develops standards and provides industry statistics, resources, and training materials.
