New ATI Products and Solutions at the Automate 2011 Show

Visit ATI at Booth #534, March 21-24, McCormick Place, Chicago, IL

Apex, NC,  January 7, 2011

ATI Industrial Automation will be exhibiting at the upcoming Automate 2011 show on March 21-24, 2011, in Chicago, IL at McCormick Place, North Hall, Booth #534. Formerly the International Robots, Vision, & Motion Control Show, Automate will be the premier event to discover the broadest automation solutions available. The show will feature dynamic keynote speakers covering topical issues, interactive hands-on demonstrations and a top notch educational conference. In ATI's booth they will display a live robotic demonstration that features Robotic Tool Changers, Robotic Collision Sensors, Robotic Deburring Tools, and Compliance Devices. They will also have all of their latest advances in robotic end-effectors and automation tooling on display including:

  • Hollow-Wrist Tool Changers: Allows the routing of pneumatics and electrical signals through its center. Provides direct compatibility with many of the industry's hollow-wrist robots.
  • Manual Tool Changers: A cost-effective and repeatable solution for quickly changing tools by hand.
  • Through-Hole Tool Changers: For passage of laser, rotating spindle, pressurized shielding gas, and other non-traditional applications through the center of the Tool Changer.
  • QC-1210 Heavy-Automation Tool Changer: Developed for robots that can handle extremely heavy payloads up to 1350 kg (2980 lb).

Many other exhibiting companies will have live robot demonstrations featuring ATI products. The show is also co-located with the ProMat 2011 show where attendees can learn about the latest developments for the material handling and logistics industries.

Founded in 1974, RIA represents some 250 North American companies including leading robot manufacturers, component suppliers, system integrators, end users, research groups, and consulting firms.
