ATI Designs the Strongest Commercially Available Tool Changer on the Market

Extremely Large Capacity for Aerospace Applications

Apex, NC, September 30, 2003 - ATI Industrial Automation has released the strongest robotic tool changer commercially available today - the QC-602. Designed especially for high payload and high moment capacity applications, the QC-602 was built to meet the strict demands of a leading aerospace manufacturer.

The QC-602 represented a challenge to the skilled staff of Engineers at ATI, and was met with this innovative design. The unit is comprised of three strong locking mechanisms and an aluminum anodized body, has a maximum payload of 2,500 lb. and a moment capacity of 122,000 in-lbs. ! The unit can be used with a variety of electric, air, and fluid modules.
