Electro-Mechanical Engineer – Design Verification Group
Location: Apex, NC     

Job Description
  • This position is primarily responsible for testing various product using different types of equipment.
  • The Core duties for this position is to aid the design process by finding failure modes through testing. Listed below are the technical skills needed to be successful in this role.
  • In depth electrical theory fundamentals
  • Experience with industrial controls
  • V&V experience is a plus
  • Experience with some sort of CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Pro/Engineering)
  • Be able to design and build test fixtures
  • Knowledge and experience with motion control is a plus
  • Working knowledge of networking protocols
  • Familiarity with DAQ system theory
  • Can read mechanical drawings is a plus
  • Familiarity with robots is a plus

  • Ability to read, analyze, and write test reports.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Must have’s: Microsoft Suite. Nice to have’s: SolidWorks, Python, LabVIEW, PLC Programing(B&R preferred but not necessary)

    Education Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree; preferable mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent.
