Product Advantages

The Discrete Signal Module allows for communication and control of the Tool Changer.
A Harting 10B connector is provided for interfacing on the master module to support Tool Changer and customer-specified I/O. The Harting interface is compatible with some ABB robot dress packages.
A separate break out Amphenol connection is also provided on the Master module to interface with the ATI VB2 control/signal module. This allows the customer to easily access Tool Changer related signals that are supported in the VB2 product.
Intercontec connections are provided on the Tool module to support power and signals, while a 5-pin M12 connection is provided to support PROFIBUS.
Spring-loaded pin block allows the Master and Tool modules to communicate across their interface when coupled.
A flexible pin boot surrounds the pin block to seal the connection from moisture and liquid while coupled.
