ATI Industrial Automation has developed another Robotic Tool Changer that meets the stringent requirements of the food industry. The QC-112 Tool Changer includes an FDA-approved coating and stainless-steel design that resists attack by organic and inorganic compounds while withstanding aggressive washdown cleaning methods used in the food industry. Featuring ATI's patented Fail-Safe Locking Mechanism, the new Tool Changer has optional Lock and Unlock sensing integrated into its design for safe Coupling and Uncoupling. The new QC-112 Tool Changer joins the previously developed QC-77 Tool Changer in a growing line of food-handling robotic Tool Changers. Other size Food-Handling Tool Changers are currently under development.
Product Features Include:
- Stainless Steel design with high strength.
- No-Touch Locking technology allows up to 0.12 inch (3.0 mm) plate separation when locking.
- Electrical pass-through is contained within the Tool Changer body. Up to 26-pins @ 5 Amp/250V.
- Optional internal proximity sensors are designed into the body of the Master plate to verify the Lock/Unlock position of the piston and cam.
- FDA-approved coating and stainless steel locking mechanism for increased corrosion resistance.
